About

I am a director of photography/director/musician from Stockholm, Sweden.

I´ve been a dedicated film maker since I got my first video camera for Christmas at the age of eleven. Besides banging my drums, filming emediately became all I ever wanted to do. Making short films, skateboard movies and and choreographed Ninja fights etc. every chance I got.

After garaduating from ”Stockholm Film Academy” in the year 2000 I emediately started working as a Director for Swedish Production company Jarowskij. At the same time I also started to get work as a DP. Shooting commercials for Mc Donalds and Fazer and more.

After two years in the commercial world I wanted to persue my dream of making more fiction work. It first lead me to directing a documentary called ”Alla bara försvinner (English title: Everybody Just Dissapears)” wich was distributed by SF and released in cinemas all over Sweden in 2003.

The film was produced by Anna Wallmark and co-produced by Oscar award nomenee Colin Nutley and it lead to yet another colaboration a year later when I made my first feature film ”Stockholm Boogie”, through Colin Nutleys then newly founded production company ”Sweet Junior”. The film hit the cinemas in 2005 and is today generally considered ”a cult film” for my generation.

”Stockholm Boogie” allso helped in launching the caréer of my band Hoffmaestro since we allso made 90% of the soundtrack for the movie. Our first album ”The Storm”, containing songs from the film released about the same time and we immediately started to book gigs to promote our material. I have been touring Sweden and Europe every year since then.

Parallell to my musical activities I still maintained a foot in the commercial world as I started working for the then newly founded production company ”Film de liberté”. During all the off-time I had from touring I kept on doing as much commercial and Music video work as I could, both as a director and a DP.

At the moment I am freelancing, first and foremost as a DP, signed to the Talent Group Agency, though I still also do directorial work through my own company Chraamofon Productions.
